Looking for:
Naim audirvana settings free downloadAudirvana Upgrade - Streaming Audio - Naim Audio - Community.
My wife and daughters were in earlier when I was playing those files, so probably using their phones. And yes - great idea to test those hires Qobuz files. Thanks just downloading those now. Also needed to update the Windows 10 OS on the laptop. Wierdly, it just took over half an hour to do this, which is 10x longer than normal.
Both sound very good, with some tonal differences. But there are so many factors that could account for that - e. The former sounded clearer and more real. My first Audirvana attempt was on a Mac Mini with a knackered HDD that sounded like a washing machine on spin cycle.
Dropouts were an issue though. Another step up in SQ. JimDog - I was just trying to help you with your problem. Also you seem to be getting tied up with other irrelevant issues - the laptop, Audirvana and transcoding to wav that are not relevant. Having a look at SH ish Mac Minis - they can be quite expensive. Thank you Easeback. As I remember it, that only refers to servers that have hardware made by the maker of the app, Conversdigitial.
I was tipped off to it by French Rooster and also NestorBurma who used it with his dr and liked it a lot. Aha, so maybe another point for Audirvana? Have you got the latest firmware? Maybe I should get a recent MM. Then I can sell it If and when a Appears and is better than a Or a Displayport cable?
What video output sockets does a MM have? If of course you feel comfortable with that try and return. My MM connects directly to a switch ER. Both sit in a separate room from the Naim gear.
You can fully control a MM via screen sharing on your iPad and also install the Audirvana remote app. Quite a neat solution IMO.
Yes, I think so. This topic was automatically closed 60 days after the last reply. New replies are no longer allowed. Thanks AC - those are both very good points. If you have an active Qobuz account here are som esummer freebies to add to your local library:. Both worked fine without dropouts, but it was a quite short test. Yes indeed. Have you tried the MConnectHD app? But only do it if you have an iPad and fancy giving it a try. Or is that your screen while playing Audirvana?
Or is there a track where the difference is obvious to you? Is your MM attached via Ethernet cable to a switch or your router?
If I get one, should it come with a small plug in keyboard, screen and power lead? Anything else? Does that work ok? Thanks Jim.
